The Bill Christy Project
	Bill's Delaware based band is comprised of some of the regions finest musicians. All talented in their own right, they joined forces to bring forth a style and sound similar to Albert King, Buddy Guy, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and BB King, with a bit of funk,soul and rock n roll. This band is high energy and will keep you dancin' all night long and wanting more at the end of the show.

Bill Christy began his musical journey when he was 10. He grew up listening to Bluegrass, Gospel, and Soul, which he developed a deep appreciation & love for. He did some studio work at the famed Muscle Shoals Studio, in the early 80s & left the music business shortly after. In 2001 he met two very important people who would forever change his life, Cristina his wife, & Sam Bluzman Taylor. He was once again inspired to write, arrange & play new music, his way. Bill is influenced by BB King, Albert King, Stevie Ray Vaughan, & Santana. He then adds his own style and flair, to whatever he plays. Bill is an Artist Member of the Blues Foundation,and the Diamond State Blues Society. In 2004 he received a Commendation from Brockton Mayor John Yunits, for his participation & generous amount of time and effort he donated to make the 1st Annual Brockton Mayor's Blues Festival a success. Bill has been on the same ticket and shared the stage with many Artists over the years, the late Bob Marley, Boston's Regal Queen of the Blues Ms. Shirley Lewis, Sam Bluzman Taylor, James Montgomery, Johnny A, Elmore James Junior, Shorty Billups, Professor Harp, Lois Greco Band, Boston's Elder Statesman of Blues Weepin' Willie, The Boston Soul Revue, Lisa Marie, Lee Lundy, David Wakefield, Blind Billy and the Spectacles, Hoodoo Revelator, Gregg Miller Group, "Scoop" Davis, Steve DeCicco Band, Chris Stovall Brown, Bob "Satch" Romano, Tuffy Kimball, Robert Lockwood Jr, Ms. Toni Lynn Washington, The Skyla Burrell Band, The Road Dogs, AudioWave, and Blues Territory, The Brew, Joey Laite and the list goes on.
